Short pulse generator using D-type flip-flop trigger.

For reference only.

Pulse generator for Geo Radar + my reminder.

    9b.0 Schematic again.

The schematic diagram of the short pulse generator is repeated so that you do not need to jump from this page to previous page.

As before, D1.1 - D1.3 is a source of square wave pulses 200kHz, which are shortened in triggers. The latter are switched on a positive edge on input "C", and are immediately reset by a signal from the inverting output of same trigger.

9b.2 Short pulses at the outputs of slow and fast triggers.

The pulse width will only be determined by the type of triggers you select. In this particular case, SN74HCT74 and 74F5074. The output "5" of slow trigger D2.1 looks like:

The animated picture shows magnified oscillograms at the outputs of triggers of D2 and D2. IC and pin number appears in the upper right corner. 4 pictures ( 10 nS/dev.) will change every 5 seconds, in a loop.

The short result is that you can get short pulses of about 5 nanoseconds (equivalent to 100 MHz) for a fast trigger, and 18 nanoseconds (27MHz) for a slow trigger. What pulses come to the trigger input "C" - does not matter.

    Additionally, for a note:
